Oh hi Glossy Box!

So October Glossy Box is here and I must say, I approve! This months theme is an "at home spa experience" which I think they have done pretty well really! Also this box is to support the Breast Cancer Care charity which is good that Glossy Box has got involved with this ever so important charity.

I'm quite excited to try some of the products in this months box as I feel its a pretty good box so without further adue lets have a look at some of the products!

The first product I'd like to mention is the Yves Rocher France moisturising Cream Lipstick, I was quite excited when I saw this product in my box as I hadn't heard much about this brand before and I'm always interested in brands that are natural and these lipsticks don't use any animal ingredients which is always good, because who wants to put bits of animal on their lips, certainly not me! I don't have ANY red lipsticks as I find the colour is a bit brave for my liking but I've tried it and I do like the colour I just haven't been brave enough to wear it out yet (I know I'm a wuss) but this lipstick is a dream to wear, its so moisturising and one swipe opaque so yeah definite thumbs up for me :)

Next is the Anatomicals "don't just clean it woman, scrub it" first of all I'd like to say that I really like this brand and I have tried some of their other products including their "Snog me senseless" mints. I love the brands packaging I think its quite quirky and fun and it makes me want to buy the product! This body scrub is packed with pink grapefruit and it smells amazing also its a really really good body scrub.

The Dr.Jart+ BB Balm is next, and I must say I'm a fan, not of the high price tag but of the product in general. I love BB creams and I use one everyday so this was a nice product for me to try, I'd definitely repurchase this product if it was cheaper but it really is just way overpriced for what it is!

Olay Regenerist 3-point treatment cream was also included in this months box and honestly I'm not a fan. I'm pretty happy with my Eve Taylor moisture lotion at the minute so I've got no desire to change it and especially not for this product, I found it way too thick and creamy which may sound like a good thing but no, I felt that it just didn't sink into my skin and it left me feeling a little greasy and slick, so not a good one for me.

Finally is the Skinetica anti blemish solution, which is "a unique solution for clearing skin blemishes, showing results in 2-3 days. Kind to skin with no side effects" I must admit I haven't actually tried this yet as I'm a bit apprehensive about what I use on my skin as I used to have terrible terrible acne, and now its finally cleared up with a holistic approach (let me know if you want to hear more about this) so I'm worried about putting something on my skin in case it flares up again but I will try this product and keep you updated :)

Let me know what you thought about this months Glossy Box.

Seventy times 7

Hola :)

Bit of an unrelated blog post today as I feel my blog is getting a bit bombarded with beauty posts and I feel I'm boring you all, what d'ya think?
Anyway I figured I'm going to start doing outfit posts as from next week as I've been spending a little bit too much time shopping online as of late and due to this the funds are looking a little bleak so I figured I may as well show you all some of the things that have been eating my money :)

I'm also going to do a blog post about my new Glossybox which came yesterday with some lovely new products in that I can't wait to try out. I've finally done it and faltered under peer pressure and order the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, I ordered the started kit as I don't actually have any muslin cloths so I figured why not buy the set and kill two birds with one stone, so super excited to try that as I've read so much hype and good reviews about it.

Had a pretty rubbish day today as I've been at uni all day (feel all I ever do is work and go to uni) so I've just taken a trip to the pub where I used to work to see some of my lovely friends which has cheered me up a little :)

Anyway hope you're all having a good day and drop me a comment as I feel like a natter :)

first Glossy Box

Hooray my first ever GlossyBox courtesy of my aunty and uncle for my birthday so thank youuuu :)

I was very impressed with this box for my first one, I love the design and colours of the box its gorgeous, the way these boxes are presented is really impressive and it makes you feel like you've got something special to look forward to every month.

First of all is the Lady Gaga Fame perfume sample, I really like this perfume but I did think it would be a bit more extreme considering its from Lady Gaga who as we all know is a bit of an exhibitionist! This is a nice perfume though that I keep in my bag and is nice for just freshen ups throughout the day.

Next up is the Body Shop's Vitamin E moisture cream, I used to use this cream when I was younger and its a really nice thick and creamy formula that applies smoothly and sinks into the skin without leaving any greasiness, it also smells lovely.

Next is the Balance Me wonder eye cream, I use their facial wash and I must say I'm really impressed with the brand, it features 99% natural ingredients which is always good when using products on the face and this eye cream is lovely and I must say it does improve the skin underneath the eye in terms of darkness and baggy eyes so its a product I've been reaching for when having a late night/early morning combo.

There are two different types of Radial products in my box, I got the Glamoxy snake serum and the 5 minute facial, I haven't actually tried either of these products but I'm pretty excited to try them as they sound lovely, especially the snake serum one, although I am a bit grossed out about something from a snake!

I also received two of the L'Oreal Professional tec.ni art products, I got the full volume moose and the smooth control gel cream. Really loving both of these products, they aren't greasy or heavy on the hair at all, the gel obviously smoothes your hair and leaves it really sleek where as the moose adds plenty of volume and lift for the hair.

Hope you enjoyed this review and let me know if you've tried any of these products above :)
